HOME SWEET HOME

Since moving in to our new home, we've been slowly but surely getting each room in the house to look the way we want. Its been a fun but long process as Paul and I have very different taste (cottage chic vs modern contemporary). Our living room is the closest to being done. We found the furniture we wanted just a few months after moving in but i am just now getting around to the decorating part.

One of my favorite style icon is Miroslava Duma. She was a fashion editor for Harpers Bazaar Russia and now a freelance writer for numerous publications. In case you didnt know, she has her own blog called buro247. The blog is in Russian but I google translated the page for you- HERE

RETRO ROAD TRIP

I've had these images for a while now and i still love the looks. They were from shopbop a while ago, maybe last spring? I love the yellow skirt paired with the flowy white top. I have since purchased several yellow skirts and dresses! I also love the red polka dot midi skirt and halter by Rebecca Taylor. I did try to purchase it but they were sold out in my size :( but I found similar items at a much cheaper price that achieved the same look.

LEOPARD/ BLACK/ GOLD/ YELLOW

This is the perfect outfit for running around doing errands and a little shopping. One of my favorite look is anything leopard with some gold accessories and sometimes a shot of color. Until I am brave enough to be on camera, my outfits will be layed out on the floor :)
